Stearic Acid

Triple Pressed Strearic Acid (TPSA)

Stearic Acid

  • Stearic Acid is known as Octadecanoic Acid (C-18), found primarily in animal and vegetable lipids.
  • The acid is insoluble in water and soluble in ethanol.
  • A base for the manufacture of other fatty acid ingredients which are used as emulsifiers, emollients and lubricants in cosmetics and personal care products.
  • A frequent ingredient in soaps made from vegetable oil, and is used to harden the products.

Rubber Grade Stearic Acid (RGSA)

  • Rubber Grade Stearic Acid is a vegetable based, renewable (from Palm Oil) Oleochemicals and Glycerine.
  • It is used in the manufacturing process of many products because this renewable fatty acid is extremely versatile.
  • In rubber industry, it is used as vulcanization activator of rubber polymer and latex, also softener.
  • In plastics industry it is widely used in pipes, board, profile and film as plasticizer, stabilizer, and lube lubricant.

Triple Pressed Stearic Acid (TPSA)

  • Triple Pressed Stearic Acid is an organic, fatty acid that is found in vegetable fats and oils.
  • It is used in a multitude of products that we use every day like cosmetics, medicines, skincare products, soaps, detergents and candles.
  • In candles, it will improve burning time, produces an opaque appearance in the wax, changes the texture of some waxes and helps hold fragrance in pillar waxes for longer and stronger scent throw.
